TOPO (The Old Post Office)

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house! The house was tastefully decorated, adding a cozy yet stylish atmosphere to our stay. The steam room was definitely a highlight – it was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to relax. The host was extremely helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. One of our favorite features was the 4-bed bunk – such a fun and unique addition to the house. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a charming location! Love to stay again.

We had a wonderful time here with friends for the weekend- 9 kids and 6 adults and plenty of space for us all. It really is a luxury experience and the finish is lovely. Every room has so much thought the design and decor is a delight. The kids absolutely loved the double bunk bed room and of course the little games room with the retro computer games was a hit. There’s a recreation ground nearby too for them to run around and kick a ball and the adults enjoyed a few runs and then using the hammam - what a treat! I would absolutely return to this the old post office it really was a memorable stay. the village has a couple of pubs too and we got a deliciius Indian takeaway on one of the nights.

We had a lovely weekend at TOPO. The house is gorgeous, decorated to a high spec with lots of lovely touches throughout. There were 13 of us and the house comfortably accommodated us all. We had an amazing nights sleep in the very comfy beds and after relaxing in the in house hamman (which was the old bank vault converted)! The house is steeped full of history which I loved and makes it so unique, and there is lots to do in Harleston which is literally on the doorstep. I can’t recommend this place enough and we are already planning our visit for Jan 2026.

Stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend and this house exceeded expectations! It’s beautifully decorated, the hammam is very easy to use, we barely had to leave the house once we had arrived! The local restaurants are great, we cooked for most of the weekend but got a Japanese takeaway for one of the nights and it was fab. You have everything you need here, I highly recommend a stay!

We stayed here last month and had the best time! It's absolutely stunning, beautifully furnished, well equipped and the steam room was the icing on the cake. The room of king sized bunkbeds was the highlight, despite us all being in our 40s! Situated in a lovely little market town with everything you need within walking distance, including a chocolate/fudge shop and good places to eat. I understand it's under new management and the hosts were fantastic and responsive and they made the whole weekend very special. Will definitely return.

I can’t recommend this gorgeous house enough for a group of friends or extended family to come together for a celebration. We were a group of 15 adults and 6 children and we still had loads of space. We loved the quirky artwork and the fact all the rooms have their own unique style and everything you could possibly need is provided. There are great spaces for everyone to come together and socialise but also the house is so big that we weren’t on top of each other. The fact it’s located in the town of Harleston was a bonus. It’s a pretty historic market town with some lovely shops, a fabulous bakery, a Co-op, takeaways and a pub. If anyone wants to get a chef in for a more formal dining experience I highly recommend Norfolk’s Edge Catering who were absolutely superb both in terms of the quality of the food and the service throughout the process of agreeing a menu and on the night.

I stayed at The Old Post Office in Harleston with a group of friends for a weekend in January, and it was absolutely fantastic. The place is a beautifully restored historic building with a real sense of character, but it also has all the modern comforts you’d want for a relaxing stay. The rooms were spacious, all decorated with flair and style, and incredibly comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into every detail of the place. The hammam spa was a real highlight—such a unique and relaxing experience, especially on a cold winter weekend. The hosts were welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The whole weekend felt like a proper escape from the everyday, and we all left feeling refreshed. If you’re looking for somewhere special to stay in Norfolk, I’d highly recommend The Old Post Office.

Amazing stay at a beautiful house. The house is stunning and has everything you need. We were a group of 13 and there was so much space, a really well stocked kitchen and lots of places to relax as well entertainment- games room, shuffle board, amazing projector. The house is in a fab location in the middle of the village with pubs, coffee shops and takeaways on your doorstep as well as easy access to the countryside. Great hosts. Would love to stay again.
